PAULA ROBINSON
I gave Paula a few faded 1980's photographs of my grandparent's lakeside cottage to paint the image on a stool from that cottage. I have fond memories of my grandparents and childhood activities at that cottage. Paula brought those memories back to life by painting a masterpiece in vivid color. It just makes me want to jump off the dock into that gorgeous lake. What a wonderful remembrance! Thank you Paula! I highly recommend her fine work

Paula Robinson came into my life at a very special time and introduced me to many pieces of art in which she used various mediums. I loved her watercolors and presented her with an idea of a family memory I wanted to preserve. Paula listened and was so open to hearing our story and why this was so important. I gave her a photo of two men sitting on a bench on the dock of our lake house. So often, my husband and a friend or relative would sit there in the morning or evening just enjoying the breezes and the beauty of Mother Nature. There is a peace that I wanted her to capture with her amazing talent. We talked about the scene and what that place meant to our family. We were at a point that we needed to sell the cabin but it was a difficult decision since it had been in my husband's family since the 30's. This project took on a whole new meaning for us. Paula helped me plan the dimensions that would help incorporate the beauty of a sunrise moment since that was always my favorite time. Paula was so easy to work with. She offered suggestions from an artist's perspective but always respecting the vision I had. I wanted the artwork to hang in our bedroom so it would be the first thing we saw when we
woke up each morning. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Paula was able to begin work on our project and how perfectly she
captured the scene and the peaceful feeling I wanted. I especially love the vibrant colors of the sunrise and the stillness of the lake in the morning.
